Harry Potter: Page to Screen…is packed with spellbinding details and hundred of never-before-seen photographs and illustrations that provide an insightful, in-depth look at the inner workings of the world of Harry Potter. The book unravels some of the films’ most peculiar mysteries, such as how Harry’s Invisibility Cloak became visible, which mythical creature required the most make-up, and why the Sorting Hat failed miserably as a puppet, while also addressing some of the broader issues surrounding the set, including the impact of Richard Harris’s death on the cast and crew, and the young stars’ thoughts on growing up on a public stage.

This is how Page to Screen is described by Harpercollins, It will have interviews with the cast and crew who brought the magic to real life. It will include art from the movie and brainstorming processes.

Hurricane Irene

28 Aug

As you all probably know the whole east coast this past week was and is being affected by Hurricane Irene, though not the strongest hurricane it has still brought damage and death in its wake. It is once in a blue moon that a hurricane will come up the east coast and even more rare to hit all big metropolitan areas. Everyone here at Dear Potter would like to hope the best for everyone affected by this storm and we hope it doesn’t cause any other deaths. And once we catch the dementors every thing will be fine. :)
